Surprise! Cheerios cereal and oats top apples for dessert.


Ingredient List
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 4 cups sliced peeled or unpeeled red apples (3 to 4 medium)
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 2 cups Cheerios™ cereal
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1/3 cup firm butter or margarine
Preparation
  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Arrange apple slices in ungreased 8- or 9-inch square pan. Crush cereal. In medium bowl, stir together cereal, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter thoroughly. Sprinkle over apples.
  3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
