Total time:

Makes:
12 to 15 pumpkins
Ingredients
  • tablespoons butter or margarine
  • cups miniature marshmallows
  • drops red food color
  • drops yellow food color
  • cups Cheerios® cereal
  • 12 to 15 whole cashews
  •  Raisins, assorted gumdrops, candy-coated chocolate candies, licorice
  • tube (4.25 oz) Betty Crocker® white decorating icing
Directions
  1. Place sheet of waxed paper on cookie sheet.
  2. In 2-quart saucepan, heat butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in both food colors until mixture is an even orange color. Stir in cereal until evenly coated.
  3. Lightly spray hands with cooking spray. For each pumpkin, shape about 1/3 cup cereal mixture into ball. Press 1 cashew into top center of ball for stem. Place on waxed paper. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  4. Attach raisins and candies with decorating icing to make faces on pumpkins. Store loosely covered.
