| 1/3 | cup butter or margarine | | 1/2 | cup packed brown sugar | | 4 | cups Cheerios® cereal | | 1/2 | cup candy-coated chocolate candies, if desired | | 1/2 | cup raisins |
| 1. | In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in brown sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth.
| | 2. | Stir in cereal. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until cereal is coated. | | 3. | Spread mixture in thin layer on ungreased cookie sheet. Cool 1 hour. Crumble into bite-size pieces. Stir in raisins and candies. Store in airtight container. |
