Frosty, the Cheery Snowman

3tablespoons butter or margarine
33large marshmallows
5cups Cheerios® cereal
1/2cup Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting (from 1-lb container)
Assorted gumdrops, sliced
1piece candy corn
String licorice
1chocolate wafer cookie
1roll Betty Crocker® Fruit by the Foot® chewy fruit snack roll
1chocolate-covered cookie stick or pretzel stick

1.In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter and 32 marshmallows uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring after every minute, until smooth. Stir in cereal until coated.
2.Butter waxed paper; place on cookie sheet. Measure cereal mixture into 3 mounds on waxed paper, using about 3/4 cup for head, 1 1/2 cups for upper body and 1 3/4 cups for lower body. Shape each mound into a ball.
3.Attach upper body to lower body and head to upper body. Using frosting, attach smaller gumdrop slices to larger gumdrop slices on head for eyes, candy corn for nose and string licorice for mouth. Decorate with additional smaller cookie for button, if desired.
4.Dip half of 1 large marshmallow into frosting. For hat, attach marshmallow to cookie with frosting. Let stand until set.
5.Make broom using cut-up fruit snack roll and chocolate-covered stick. Attach hat to head with frosting; wrap string licorice around neck for scarf. Store loosely covered at room temperature no longer than 1 month.


Tips from the kitchen
Variation:
Use either black or red string licorice for the snowman's mouth.
