| 1 | cup Apple Cinnamon Cheerios® cereal | | 3/4 | cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour | | 3/4 | cup milk | | 2/3 | cup chunky applesauce | | 3 | tablespoons butter or margarine, melted | | 2 | teaspoons baking powder | | 1/4 | teaspoon salt | | 1 | egg | | Maple-flavored syrup, if desired |
| 1. | Heat griddle or 12-inch skillet over medium-low heat or to 325°F; grease if necessary. | | 2. | Crush cereal. In large bowl, stir together cereal and remaining ingredients except syrup just until moistened. | | 3. | Pour batter by generous 1/4 cupfuls onto hot griddle. Cook about 2 minutes or until bubbles begin to break on the surface. Turn pancakes and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes longer. Serve with syrup. |
