While a few kids seem naturally organized, most don’t develop organization skills without help. But how do you do it, especially if you don’t feel particularly organized yourself? The good news is that each task can be completed following a 1-2-3 process that’s easy for kids to understand.
The steps are:
  1. Getting organized
  2. Staying focused
  3. Getting it done
At first glance, feeding the family pet seems like, well, just feeding the family pet. But there’s a lot more going on in these simple day-to-day moments.

By taking the time to teach children how to organize themselves to do everyday tasks, parents are planting the seeds that will help them grow to be responsible, independent, capable, and confident. And that’s no small thing.
