The Cheerios team is a big fan of Jill Dubien from Meet the Dubiens
so we reached out to her to create some custom Cheerios bento boxes. The first bento box is a healthy breakfast bento, loaded full of fresh fruits and packed with a protein-packed, no-bake, Banana Nut Cheerios energy bar. See below to make this masterpiece at home.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1 pan of Banana Nut Cheerios energy bars – see recipe below
Fresh slices of orange
1 bento box with 2 sections
1 large shaped cookie cutter – I used a butterfly
1 silicone muffin cup
1. Grab a large cookie cutter (your choice of shape) and cut a shape out of the pan of Banana Nut Cheerios energy bars. Metal cutters work best. Place your energy bar in your bento box.
2. Put a handful of sunflower seeds in a silicone muffin cup. Place this muffin cup of seeds in your bento box, behind your shaped energy bar.
3. Wash all your fresh fruit, and arrange the fruit inside the bento box. I put orange segments at the back, and filled the front with fresh raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.
